Huella Zero, in collaboration with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), held the webinar From Nature to the News: How to Cover Real Climate Solutions.
Nature-based solutions are becoming one of the most important strategies in addressing climate change. During the webinar, Paula Caballero explained what these solutions are, why they are gaining prominence on the global climate agenda, and how they can transform cities, ecosystems, and communities.
Joining her, climate journalist Tais Gadea Lara shared how to identify these stories in the field, turn them into compelling pieces for broad audiences, and effectively pitch them in newsrooms.
The webinar, open to NAHJ members, took place May 21 and was moderated by journalist Connie Schulte.
