Sachamama Original Series, the documentary branch of Sachamama, in partnership with ViX Univision, launched “Los Ángeles: The Fire That Never Went Out”, a three-part documentary series that exposes the consequences of the January 2025 wildfires on Latino communities in Southern California.
More than just a story about wildfires, it is a story about neglect, resilience, and justice — and a powerful reminder that the climate crisis is making these disasters more frequent, more destructive, and more unjust for the communities with the fewest resources to face them.
This campaign offered media outlets, community organizations, and allies a Social Media Toolkit with videos, graphics, and messages to share the series, raise awareness, and educate audiences across the country.
