Turning scientific data into stories of everyday people that inspire climate action isn’t easy — but it’s essential for informing and mobilizing the Latino community in the U.S. in the face of the environmental crisis.
To support this mission, Sachamama, in partnership with Nuestra Casa and Latino Community Fund, hosted the free webinar “From the Community: Narratives for Climate Resilience.”
Carlos Zegarra, Executive Director of Sachamama, highlighted how Latino communities in the U.S. are influencing climate narratives and shaping environmental policy decisions.
Claudia Vera, a member of Nuestra Casa, emphasized the importance of creating spaces like this webinar to support and advance community leadership.
