At COP30, Sachamama hosted the interactive dialogue “Connecting Voices: Strengthening Climate Communication,” a 60-minute session focused on the strategic role of communication in addressing the climate crisis.
The dialogue took place on November 18 at the Belém+10 Pavilion and was conducted in English.
The dialogue was organized by Sachamama in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International, bringing together a diverse group of communicators, including journalists, digital creators, Indigenous leaders, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The central objective was to explore what makes climate communication effective, human, and inclusive.
Through the exchange of experiences and best practices, participants examined how to close the gap between awareness and climate action, while strengthening cross-sector collaboration
The session was grounded in a shared premise: no single voice can tell the story of the climate crisis alone. However, coordination among science, storytelling, communities, and creativity can transform perceptions and mobilize more active engagement.
