Committed to serving the Latino community and leaving a positive impact, I currently work as Editor-in-Chief of Sachamama’s Huella Zero program. I am the Office Manager at Sachamama with an academic background in Management, Economics, Finance, and Accounting, including postgraduate studies in Business Management. Experienced in administrative, financial, and operational management within social and environmental impact organizations. I support internal processes, financial coordination, and operational workflows, contributing to efficient, well-structured operations aligned with organizational mission and goals.

CARLOS ZEGARRA
I am a biologist with interdisciplinary training in communications, media relations, and civic engagement. As the Executive Director at Sachamama, I lead initiatives that raise awareness and drive tangible actions to address climate and environmental challenges. Beyond my work at Sachamama, I collaborate on various efforts, from international events like the Conference of Parties (COPs) to national campaigns, working to cultivate Latino leadership and ensure that Latino perspectives are prominently featured in discussions shaping policies and overall narratives.

CLAUDIA ZEGARRA
I am an anthropologist and transpersonal psychologist with a deep interest in environmental issues and the connection between humans and the natural world. My work focuses particularly on how we project our inner experiences when engaging with the environment and how these perceptions shape our relationship with the planet. I oversee all activities related to operations, logistics, and collaboration across teams to ensure they are effective and align with our mission.

JANETTE LUVIANO
I am a journalist with more than 25 years of experience in mass media. I studied Communication Sciences with a focus on Mass Media International, and my career has spanned print, radio, and primarily television, with professional experience in Mexico, Spain, the United States, and China.
I also hold a master’s degree in Child Psychology with a focus on Education, reflecting my long-standing commitment to community service and volunteer work. Today, I serve as Director of Programs at Sachamama, where I integrate my background in media, education, and operations to lead our core programs, including Huella Zero, our environmental news platform, and the Climate Hub, where we develop educational courses and training to support Latino climate leadership and community empowerment.

I am an Advertising Professional with over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, specialized in Digital Marketing and Online Advertising. My approach combines creativity, data analysis, and performance to design digital communication strategies aligned with business objectives. As Digital Marketing Manager at Sachamama, I lead the structuring and consolidation of the organization’s digital ecosystem, planning strategies focused on growth, conversion, and community engagement. My purpose is to position the organization as a platform that mobilizes climate action, protects the environment, and promotes sustainable living opportunities to strengthen our spiritual connection with Mother Earth.

I am a digital developer with extensive experience in the production, development, and evaluation of IT solutions and digital product management. I oversee the organization’s web presence, SEO, digital applications, and design experiments to generate insights from data, sparking new ideas and opportunities at Sachamama. I have extensive experience in systems engineering with a focus on e-commerce and business administration.
