We Presented Our Docuseries Healthy Oceans, Strong Communities in Washington D.C.

We held the first screening of our new docuseries “Healthy Oceans, Strong Communities” in Washington D.C., in collaboration with the Center for American Progress.

The presentation took place during an Ocean Progress Symposium that brought together more than 200 ocean advocates from all sectors, including policymakers, scientists, commercial and artisanal fishers, Indigenous leaders, youth, philanthropists, and media representatives.

We also offered a preview of the ocean conservation stories featured in the docuseries, highlighting the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary as a model of how marine protected areas strengthen both ecosystems and coastal communities.
